"Read between the Lines" menswear editorial

I compiled the draft of my first editorial on the male figure during the fashion styling course at the Accademia del Lusso school of fashion in Italy. Analysis of the 60s movie "Who are you, Polly Maggoo?" reminded me light effects of movies Casablanca and The Lover (of which I had read the novel too). So I wanted to create the idea of light between the window shutters, within a vintage-style setting.

This project allowed me to raise the level of my styling as the moodboard was liked by luxury magazine editors who wanted to publish the final result. Indeed I was able to access high-level brands to create the looks featured in the editorial. Having never had the opportunity to deal with important press offices before, it was an important research work by emails and telephone calls with a continuous comparison and exchange of information between Italy and foreign fashion references.
